Thank you for your service…berry…

January 31…After 18 years of service, we said goodbye to our serviceberry tree. It had made us many tarts and provided just-in-time berry breakfasts on the driveway over the years. But we needed to remove it to make way for the front entry and porch. This was a hard decision for us as we have loved how productive this tree has been for years. So we enjoyed a special moment with our tree and thanked it for its service. We will definitely be planting more of these in the future and sharing tarts with our community.
